I just went to watch "Warlords" with Bing & Eddy. Quite violent; Reminds me of "300". The story is quite sad. What a violent ending to Year 2007.
Quick its nearly 2008!
Here is a summary of significant NEW things I've experienced this year. (as documented in this blog)
- Eat beef
- Ton at Chien2's house
- Go eat supper with people (excluding chalet or similar)
- See Melissa L.'s house
- Go in another person's house without knocking/ doorbell/ shout (Chien2's)
- Class reunion of PCPS 6C'1999 (2X)
- Go Merlion Park
- Get an electro cardiograph (ECG) (2X)

- Know about Second Life
- Sleep by the pool
- Get high by drinking cough medicine
- View a rainbow clearly
- Eat Turkish cuisine

- Go Clarke Quay
- Drink beer
Notes:
- The first thing I'll do in 2008 is to have a bath.
- Right on time.
My own, almost personal diary because few people comes in to read all these. I like to document the times when I go out with friends.
A Raining Christmas
I have not been at home for Christmas Eve for quite a few years already. Though this is not good, I'd rather go out for Christmas Eve because my family doesn't even care about Christmas.
Since I didn't go out for Christmas, let's recall what happened last Christmas Eve.
Last Christmas
I did go to Bing's house to install Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne though.
Oh Ya, this is the 1st time that I am sick during Christmas.

PES A L1
I went for the medical check-up for NS today. I woke up to a rainy morning, and got ready to go. I set off for Redhill MRT Station. When I reached there, I took a super packed Bus 145 to reach CMPB.
So fun. After I passed through the security check, I proceeded to the CMPB building. In chronological order:
- Registered at the 1st counter I saw in the building.
- Took photo in a room with 2 seemingly gay photographers.
- Went to register in the inner counter.
- Do the urine test.
- 2 vials of blood were drawn by a guy lamenting about how dirty a nurse's job can be.
- Eye tested and spectacles analysed.
- Entered a small box to test hearing.
- Took chest X-Ray in a funky pose. (Cluck!)
- Dental check-up. (Check what teeth missing/ got fillings etc.)
- ECG. The things connected to my body are huge clamps and suction pads there.
- Height and blood pressure measurement. (No weight???)
- Wait... (Ch 5 showing a boring sitcom)
- Get examined by Medical Officer. (Listen with stethoscope, etc.)
- Take IQ Test & some preference test.
- Out!
While walking to the Bus 145 bus-stop, I saw a Bus 57 drive by, so I took Bus 57 home instead.
Notes:
- In the photo taking room, got 1 photographer and 1 guy HELP YOU CHANGE YOUR SHIRT! I guess that guy is in charge of feeling you, for there is a rating for Physique. I guess that guy needs to act gay. What a lousy job.
- In the hearing test, the operator pressed the button for the beeps with such speed that I nearly cannot keep up. I am supposed to raise my hand whenever I hear a beep.
- I am not that good with Maths now, after 3 years in Design.
- Bus 57 passes through many spots of Singapore that I have not seen before, such as a railway station, under tall buildings in the city, and even beside Vivo City.

Second Time Round
Last night, I went to the 2nd Class Reunion of 6C'1999. It was quite a crazy night. (I've done quite a few new things that night.)
Dinner was at Sofra Turkish Cafe & Restaurant @ Shaw Towers. (Woo Turkish cuisine. New!) As I was walking to Shaw Towers from Bugis, I met Yun Sheng & Wei Xin at a pedestrian crossing. Therefore I went into Shaw Towers with them.
I think there are 2 reasons why Shaw Towers doesn't have a big crowd even on weekends. Firstly, Shaw Towers is right in between Suntec City & Bugis Junction. Therefore the crowd are absorbed by both of them. Secondly, there is only 1 escalator in the ENTIRE first floor. We spent around 5 minutes looking for it... Anyway, once the escalator is found, we went up and met up with Wanrong, Sarah, Yong Cheng & Zi Xuan. After a while Wei Ri, Edmund, Hui Min and Hui Chiang arrived, and we went in. The restaurant is pretty, though I don't know how a Turkish place would look like.
Clara, Yu Xin and Si Jie arrived soon after. I ordered a Chef Plate and a Turkish Tea. According to the menu, it says "A combination plate consists of Doner kebap, Izgara Kofte & a skewer of Shish kebap" (Link). I don't know what's that, but the picture looks normal. The waiter said its a chicken, beef and mutton dish. (Lamb! Never eat before! New!)
The dish arrived! I can distinguish beef from the rest, but I don't know if I am eating chicken or mutton. Is mutton supposed to have a strong taste? I can't taste it. The Turkish Tea isn't as special, though. Of course, while eating, I listened to the chatter the others are making.
After eating like for an hour plus, we paid up. There was quite a confusion as we don't know what some dishes with Turkish names are called, so some don't know how much they need to pay. There's also tax to consider. Yu Xin even lost a few dollars from her $50 note. Amid this confusion, Magdalene arrived. We left after the missing dollars problem was solved.
We walked back to Bugis MRT where Clara left. Then we walked to a bus stop to take a bus (12?) to Clarke Quay (Never been before. New!). Walked along the river banks for a while before we picked a place to chill.
We went to a place called Brewerkz @ Riverside Point for beer (Never had beer before! New!). It look more like a big restaurant. Anyway we ordered a tower of Golden Ale. We just talked and laughed while relaxing there. I think the increased chatter is also due to the presence of that golden liquid.
After some time, we split into 2 groups to catch the last bus/ train home. Didn't know you can walk to a Bus 57 bus stop from Clarke Quay. Just follow the river. Tired, but happy.
Notes:
- Zi Xuan - Came to DMD with me.
- Wei Ri - Came to Zhonghua with me.
- Si Jie - A tiny girl. Sat behind me once in primary school.
- So many firsts that night. That is why I like to go out in a big group. More chances of trying something new.
- After tasting beer, I think the only way I'd like drink beer is to down it quickly. Don't like the taste, but like the feeling.
- I should find out how to differentiate between Magdalene & Ying Hui. Didn't know who didn't come last night till I asked Yun Sheng just now.
- I'll link up the post for the last gathering, so that it'll become a series. For the 1st gathering, here is the link

Get High!
Have you ever drank too much cough medicine? I did, just now.
I started getting a fever on Sunday night. Therefore I went to see a doctor on Monday. He gave me some tablets, plus a big bottle of disgusting pink cough medicine (reminds me of phenolphthalein). I ate my medicine regularly. Tonight, when I was taking my medicine, I accidentally drank about 8 or 9ml more than what I should be drinking.
OmG I aM so DizzY and HigH. LikE I'vE reAcHeD tHe higH pOinT when I am DrinkInG alCoHol.

- If 8-9ml can do this to me, imagine what I will feel if I drink HaLf a BottLe.

Birthday Thoughts
Last Friday was my birthday. I would like to thank the 3 that wished me "Happy Birthday"
- Automated responses from various websites
- The lady doing the registration for blood donation
- Pearlyn
And the other 3 that treated me dinner.

A Colourful Thought
On Friday I saw a rainbow. Right in front of me, a huge streak of colour. It was so beautiful that everyone in Yio Chu Kang Bus Terminal was either looking at it or taking a photo of it. Though I know how a rainbow is formed, I am inclined to think that the rainbow is a sign from some higher power.
Perhaps it is a sign of good things to come.
Notes:
- If I could convert my memory into data, I can post the picture of the rainbow.

The Dragon Generation
Disclaimer: I post all my thoughts about people on this blog. My comments are VERY harsh, so if anyone is offended, then too bad, huh? Hope everyone that is involved does not see this blog.
Can thinkings change in one year? Does the mindset of people change with every Year of the Dragon? Hmmm...
Yesterday, after FYPJ, I went to Costa Sands Resort at Pasir Ris for Vinod's birthday. The unit is S-15. In fact, as I am posting this, Vinod is still there entertaining a new group of people until Sunday. Woo...
I went with Edmund, Amos, Wye Huong, Justin & Chiong. Larry & Kenny went home first after school. We arrived at 7pm+. Kai Siang & Ming Hui were there already, along with Vinod & his friend, a singlet guy. This singlet guy is definitely a chain smoker as he smoked 4 cigarette in around 20-30 minutes. As you can infer, this chalet will be an extremely smoky one... Anyway there's already food cooked by the people there, plus the pre-cooked food from the supplier, so we started eating.
Take note that the moon rose at about 7pm & set at about 7am. I would need this to calculate the time of the night. It is a full moon by the way. Woo... Full moon. Make people go crazy according to statistics.
Before we even boarded Bus 354 to go to the chalet, we met Desmond (Wong) at Pasir Ris MRT Station. He said he is going to walk to the chalet instead of taking any transportation. He arrived at the chalet around 15 minutes later than us. Bus 354 is slow.
Larry & Kenny arrived at around 8pm, joining all the Games people - Edmund (Shi), Vinod, Kai Siang, Ming Hui, Edwin (Chan)(I forgot when he arrived) and me. 3 girls arrived abit later. Everyone except me & Vinod's secondary school friends seems to know them. They just go talk with everyone they know. I ate a little bit more.
I activated my hibernation mode. It is a mode activated usually when I am at a chalet, deep into the night. I stopped feeling hungry, thirsty, tired and started to be in a game playing mood. Though there isn't any game for me to play, I just laughed along with the people playing Winning Eleven. I know this mode is extremely harmful to my body, but whenever game time starts in any of the previous chalet, I automatically entered into this mode. This time, I manually activated this mode because I didn't know quite a number of people, so I just sat down on the floor to watch the people play PS2.
Watched the game for a while. The DET trio left the chalet quite early, about 10pm? Vinod's secondary school friends (They call themselves the FTP, meaning First Toa Payoh) prepared 19 cups of alcohol for Vinod to drink for his 19th birthday, so Vinod started to drink. He is really strong for the first 15 or so cups, then slowed down for the last few cups. I've never seen people drink so much before, so I kept looking. He doesn't seemed drunk at first when he finished everything, but after a while, the alcohol went into his blood and he became an animal. (NO not like a wild, sex-crazed animal. Just turned into a normal human being that has discarded all his usual inhibitions and started to do EVERYTHING)
Vinod wanted to dance, so a bunch of people followed him up to the small 2nd floor room to DANCE O.o They switched off the lights and supposedly started dancing. I am not in there, so I don't know what happened inside. Supposedly there was a period of craziness before it became like a 1-on-1 dance challenge, sort of like Audition. Edwin's girlfriend arrived at this period of time. I went to the second floor for a while before Vinod decided he is going to dance in the bigger space below.
Therefore, the PS2 people paused their game and the lights below was switched off. However there wasn't any dancing as Vinod suddenly disappeared with his FTP people (Should be just outside of the chalet) The . Romain suggested a drinking game to play. The game starts with one person posing a statement like "I've never (insert an action here)." If you have done that action before, you drink. If not, pass on the alcohol to the next person. It's like a confession game. The 1st statement was "I've never had sex before.", so you can roughly guess the nature of the statements we posed that night. I'll leave you all to guess what the questions are & what my answers were : ) This game & the results will be discussed later in a separate section.
After there was no more alcohol some of the people stayed inside to play PS2
while most of the people went just outside the chalet to talk. There we learned more about Larry and Edwin's girlfriend. Edwin's girlfriend will be talked about later. After the talking session Edwin & girlfriend left while I went to the poolside to SLEEP O.o I've never fell asleep outside of my home other than in chalets & in school. Beside a pool? No. New experience. By the way, all the deck chairs was filled by people sleeping beside the pool.
I woke up when the moon was at approximately 140o in the sky. At that point, I cannot think and lost track of time. I went back to the chalet to sleep some more till 8.30am this morning. Larry, Kenny, Ming Hui, Kai Siang, Edmund, Amos & me left the chalet and we proceeded home.
----- Warning! Explicit & offending words below -----
I've never
The results of the game was surprising for me. I've never would have thought the usually funny Ming Hui is smoking, had sex with a number of girls already, and have done a whole lot of other sexual things before. What's more, he is only 19. Younger than me by 1 year and has had done so much stuff. The game also let Edwin & girlfriend find out more about each other. It also exposed what the French duo have done before (A lot of crazy things). Is this the new Dragon Generation? I've never heard of anything like that in my Rabbit Generation (bar the one that is already a father at 17 or 18 years old). Hmmm...
Edwin Chan's Girlfriend
Chan's girlfriend is, wow! Not in her looks, but her actions & mindset (Not that she looks ugly. She looks ok). She look at & admire both handsome men & pretty girls. She even discuss about girls with Chan. Wow! That IS something NEW! She also discuss & admits her need for sex (Of course not in an explicit way). Most girls in Singapore shun from the issue. Is this the new age Dragon Generation girl?

Notes:
- Why do I have to describe every single details? Why......?
- I ate the least amount of food in this chalet compared to other chalets.
- Vinod doesn't usually smoke that much. Maybe the alcohol is getting to him. When he is drinking the 19 cups he smoked quite a few sia.
- It's smoky once Ming Hui got High because he suggested smoking in the main room.
- I hate cigarettes even more now.
- Cigarettes WILL F-YOU UPSIDE DOWN! If you get offended by this, too bad. Please smoke 20 cigarettes at once, 20 times a day & die broke, sick and young.

Why is it not Christmas yet? I like the feeling of Christmas even if I am not celebrating it. This year, I hope to go out with many people on Christmas.

The Island Pictures
I found the pictures that we took in Sentosa. Here are some of them:

Our Tour Guide!

On the Sentosa Express.

Imbiah Station.

An exhibit in the Butterfly Park.

Before we went up the Sky Tower.

Golf Course?

On TOP of the towering Merlion.

Kelong? No, its the prop for "Songs of the Sea".

Rasa Sentosa, of course.

Above the "Skyride".

LUGE Starts Here!

Skyride not that high right? Come and sit.

Relax @ Images of Singapore.

Ship shooting Gun in Fort Siloso.

Fish 1: "Hey our sushi is coming."
Fish 2: "Ouch! There's a plastic wall!"

Dolphins! The sun was right in-front of us, so the contrast in all other pictures of Dolphin Lagoon are extreme.

Who's there?

Songs of the Sea does some crazy fire effects.
Notes:
- If I say a girl is pretty, don't trust me.

/\/\/\/ The Island \/\/\/\
I went to Sentosa today for a "field trip". There was our 2 staff members, my DMD and DET people. We went there to "do our research" for the Second Life project. We went to enjoy almost all the attractions on the island, for FREE. O Yes, for FREE. Envy me!
Vivo City
- I haven't been there before. Passed through it in the morning, too sleepy to look around. Passed through it in the night, too tired to explore.
- Took the NEW Sentosa Express (although it was opened, like, a few months ago) to the island.
Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom, $10
- We alighted at the strangely named "Imbiah Station" and went to the park.
- Afraid of butterflies and moths, but went in anyway.
- Gained lots of knowledge about insects. They have lots of specimens.
- Our tour guide too scared to go in.
Sentosa 4D Magix, $16
- The movie's storyline is quite cliché.
- All of the things in the movie are designed to showcase what the theatre can do. As Kenny said, the movie is like a demo reel of the theatre.
- Its quite shocking sometimes when jets of air shoot you at close range.
- If you need spectacles, you may not enjoy the whole thing as much.
Sentosa CineBlast, $16
- Next to the exit of 4D Magix only.
- The story is quite meaningful. It is campaigning against logging
- You are riding in a simulated log flume.
- It was really song. Though you cannot feel the speed, you can feel the sloping.
Carlsberg Sky Tower, $12
- Isn't it $10 the last time I went to Sentosa? I dunno.
- I always wanted to go up the moment it was opened. So fun.
- You can see quite far. However, there was some kind of mist covering the farther parts, like not enough draw distance like that.
- Just relax on the top. No fear of the car dropping down like Roller Coaster Tycoon.
Sentosa Luge & Skyride, $9 a round
- It's cheaper if you buy more rounds at once. I feel that its quite worth it.
- You ride a Go-Kart like thing down. Pull the handle to release the brakes. Pull it all the way towards you to engage the brakes.
- I am not used to such funky brakes, so I drove downhill with like 1/5 brake engaged half the time.
- It's like Initial D, racing downhill. I even cut some tight corners just like the movie.
- I heard that the tour guide is really pro at this. Zoom and disappeared.
- At the bottom of the hill, We proceeded to the chairlift to get us back up on the hill.
- It was really scenic. With your legs hanging around, it was exciting in a slow kind of way.
- I was afraid of dropping my slippers though.
Images of Singapore, $10
- It was really interesting. There was all sorts of stuff I've seen in TV. However it was REAL.
- There's plenty of interesting things to look at and read. Too bad I can't finish absorbing before they hurried me out.
Subway, Food not FREE
- The sub itself is not that expensive. However the DRINKS are OVERPRICED! $2+ for a bottle of green tea.
- Just sit and talk and eat.
The Merlion, $8
- I didn't know you can go INTO the merlion.
- I didn't know you can go UP the merlion.
- They gave you a coin to play with a machine that dispenses gift cards. So interesting.
- The view on top of the merlion was almost as nice as the Sky Tower. However the walls are too hot.
- One of the more lonely job in Sentosa is the photographer at the Merlion's mouth. Small and dark, few people come to the mouth.
- I got a merlion figurine from the gift card.
Fort Siloso Tours, $8
- Took a tram from the "Beach Station".
- Lonely job 2 is the people in Fort Siloso. Very few people visit this historic site.
- There was even more stuff to look at than Images of Singapore. Really a pity that the group only saw a few parts of the whole Fort.
- It should take around 1-2 hours to explore the whole Fort, but we only went to Tunnel A and the Surrender Chambers.
Underwater World, $19.90
- A lot of water!
- There was so many things to look at that I just scan through exhibits. Only when I gave up trying to follow the group that I was able to look at the exhibits more closely.
- I went through 3 rounds of the Underwater Tunnel because it was so fun. So many things to look at. 1 round is definitely not enough.
- Usually sushi comes to you on a conveyor belt. The belt at the tunnel is just a bigger version of that design. Feels like human sushi on the belt for the fishes to eat.
Dolphin Lagoon, $19.90
- Took tram to the Lagoon. Passed by Palawan Beach which I haven't been before.
- So many people. And the sun is like shining right into your eyes. Combined with the reflection of sunlight in the water, you may just go blind. Shouldn't go the 5.30pm show.
- The tour guide left before the show to meet her friends.
- The dolphins are really powerful, both in strength and skills. They are beautiful too.
- Wonder if the dolphins are stressed?
Koufu, Food not FREE, again
- Once you go in, almost all the food are like $5. Normally if a food court on mainland Singapore sells a bowl of noodle for $3.50 you will already be like SIAO!
- Heard lots of cork from the only crazy DET guy.
Songs of the Sea, $6
- There was so many people that long queues formed at the entrances.
- It was one of the the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Go watch it.
Beach Station
- Took the Express back to Vivo and went home by train.
Notes:
- The tour guide is a pretty 20 year old girl. For some reason I dunno her name. Some Wei Chin or something.
- She is doing attachment at Sentosa! She does office work, but likes to become a tour guide to get out of the office.
- If Sentosa want us to maintain SL Sentosa, I don't mind working till NS or after NS. You get to go in Fort Siloso, Merlion and a few other Sentosa owned attractions for free.
- I still haven't rode the Cable Car. Noooooo......
- Its $134.80 if you want to experience the trip I went today, but without a tour guide. Food and other expenses not included.

Pain Seeker
Am I a pain seeker? I dunno, since I regularly do things that MAY cause me pain. Take for example my mouth ulcers. I regularly eat heaty foods and foods that may scratch my mouth, causing ulcers. Am I seeking pain? What do you think?
Anyway, I just ran 4 laps around the stadium barefoot. The stadium track was HOT! And the ground was ROUGH! The 1st 2 laps wasn't so bad. It was just Hot only. After blisters started developing the moment I tired by the end of the 2nd lap, it was painful AND exhausting. 3 years + never train sia! 2 girls finished the 4 laps faster than me. Woo! Must train more.
I got 3 blisters on each foot - 2 regular and 1 blood blister. Dangerous. Felt bad and weak when I cannot do the Standing Broad Jump and the Shuttle Run. (It's the school's training program for Year 3 students to prepare them for NAPFA test)
Am I enjoying the pain? Fortunately, I am not. Do I seek pain? I dunno.

Reminder
Reminder: I cannot eat the rice of chicken rice. Do not eat it. Will give you tiredness and dizziness and generally, a really uncomfortable feeling. Remember? The Quan Han house incident. That one at National Day Eve one. Do NOT eat the rice of CHICKEN RICE!
Notes:
- Wow! my chatterbox finally got people come and use le.
- Yes! If you search "Tan Fadong" in Google, my blog is the 1st site listed! Hope more people I know go search.
- Sadly, if you search "Fadong" in Google, the 1st site listed is Urban Dictionary. What's more, the definition is, well, "unique".

Second Life
Second Life
It's the 2nd week of the Second Life Sentosa project (my FYPJ), and I am glad to say it's fun. The feeling of "a lot of people doing projects around you and having fun at the same time" is good.
However, what about my Concept Pitch module??? Many questions lies ahead.
Notes:
- My teammates are Larry and Kenny, with 3 other DETs.
- My Second Life alias is "Seaside Seesaw".

I've let you all down
It's Teacher's Day eve today, but I cannot go to school to visit my teachers. There are several reasons why...
- My Primary School changed a lot. I don't think my teachers are still there after 7+ years.
- Nobody is going with me to my Secondary School.
- Many of my teachers left my Secondary School and her incompetent Principal.
- I am too ashamed to go back.
Wah! Why too ashamed? You see, I did so badly in Polytechnic that I need to repeat a year, probably more. Furthermore, all my teachers expected me to go JC. If they find out I am repeating in Polytechnic, they will be so disappointed. Since the people from my batch who went to Polytechnic should be in Army now, I will easily be asked why I am not in the Army. I feel quite sad that I cannot go back to find my teachers. Hopefully, I'll meet them on the streets when I am out of Polytechnic.
To all my Teachers,
I am sorry
Notes:
- If I am not wrong, the principal that slowly messed up Zhonghua should be Tan Hwee Pin (THP). After our dear Chang Swee Tong left the school, THP introduced a reign of terror, with pointless checks for strange things, and more detention. The teachers have no choice but to be the bad guys, executing her instructions.
- I was in Secondary 3 when she came in as the 2nd Vice-Principal. Our dear Vice-Principal Violet Loo had her Vice-Principal power taken away by this noob. Sadly, a few months later when I was in Secondary 4, she became the Principal.

Perhaps It's Fate...
On Saturday Night, I went to the 1st ever class reunion of my primary school class, 6C of 1999. It was really fun as most of us are not familiar with/ forgot some people, and we try to be friendly to everyone.
At 6.3opm, I arrived at Bugis MRT to meet up with the classmates that I have not seen for 7+ years... Though a majority of us lives at Toa Payoh, we never see each other except for the ones that went on to Zhonghua Secondary. When I arrived at the meeting point, I saw Wanrong, Sarah, Hui Qiang, Xi Chun, Yong Cheng, Edmund waiting there already. It was really fun seeing a lot of familiar yet unfamiliar faces. After Clara arrived, we set off for dinner.
Dinner was at Miss Clarity's Cafe @ Purvis Street. There we saw Yun Sheng and Wei Xin reserving seats for us. We just sat and talked for a while before ordering food. I ordered a Roasted Chicken Leg ($9.80). After we ordered the food, Yu Xin came. The food was served fairly quickly and the serving is not bad considering the price (The restaurant does not charge any tax, and it is a pretty well done up place too). We ate and talked while Hui Min arrived at this time. After I've finished my food, I looked around and saw Siok Wei already here like she was here for a long time. I never did saw her arrive...
After all of us finished our food, Serene and Ying Hui came and ordered their dinner. We talked and talked like we have known each other for quite some time (though we forgot about each other over the years). After dinner, we left the restaurant for some group photos. Then we proceeded to walk aimlessly to another place. We eventually reached Raffles City where Serene left. After we walked around Raffles City we decided to go and see the Merlion.
Clara left when we reached City Hall MRT Station. We then walked to the Merlion. It is the 1st time I've went to Merlion Park, so it's quite interesting for me. We just sat on the steps and talked some more. We also took some more pictures. Time passes quite fast when you got something to do, and soon, it was 12.30am. Magdalene arrived, but some of us didn't talk to her for some reason. At around 12.40am we started to leave and find a way home. Originally we wanted to share a taxi, but when we reached the bus-stop, Bus 57 came. It can go to where most of us live, so we started to run to the bus. Even those who cannot go home with this bus ran up the bus, confused. So the bus took us to our destination and we went home.
Notes:
- Wanrong - I remember her as a friendly girl.
- Hui Qiang - I remember her as big. She is still quite tall now.
- Sarah - I remember her as having a big face and curly hair. Her face looked smaller, but her curly hair remained.
- Xi Chun - Sadly, I only knew that there was such a girl in the class and nothing more.
- Clara - She is still so pretty after 7 years.
- Yu Xin - No idea then, have idea now.
- Siok Wei - I remembered her as an unapproachable girl : )
- Hui Min - She came to Zhonghua, so I know.
- Serene - I remember her as a gambler. Now she doesn't look like she would gamble anymore.
- Ying Hui - I only knew that there was such a girl in the class, and I am not familiar with her.
- Magdalene - Bad experience, maybe? Some of us are not familiar with her, not just me.
- Yong Cheng - I remember him as a big and bubbly guy.
- Edmund - I don't remember much of him as he seldom speak a lot.
- Yun Sheng - He came to Zhonghua, so I know.
- Wei Xin - He also came to Zhonghua, so I also know.
- Most (or is it all) of them went to JC and plans to/ in in University. Alas, the mistake of writing the wrong course code and not choosing Yishun JC. I should be in NS by now...
- It's the first time so many people I know alighted in the same area to go home. I guess we just don't see each other, huh.

Go Find Your Broom
On Saturday evening (just now only, so I'll treat this post as entered on Saturday), An asked me out to eat and watch movie with him and Bing. So I went (Did I ever turn down an invitation to go out with anyone?).
Met up at Junction 8. Bing just bought his "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" today, so he is somewhat anxious to read it. An just got out of Field Camp, so he is a bit "hyper" today. We bought the tickets to "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" movie (Bing and An treated me to the movie because they got their pay recently. I must remember this). After that we go eat a very expensive mee pok.
Go back to the arcade to wait for the movie. It starts at 10p.m. 1st time I watched a movie that shows so late. When we finally can go in, we saw the preview of the "Underdog" movie. I grew up watching Underdog (along with other cartoons), so it's really nostalgic. Then the movie started.
Really nice, the movie. Go watch.
After the movie ended at around 12.30a.m., we started to proceed home. An need to take a taxi because there was no MRT. Bing asked his father to drive their van to Junction 8 so that he could drive it home. Though I refused, they still asked me to hop on. I can't really reject the offer once it is made, so I just hopped on. So, to shorten the previous sentence, Bing drove me home.
Notes:
- I really didn't want to watch this movie as I've missed either parts or completely the 3 movies before this one.
- "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets". Completely missed...
- "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban". I nearly completed this one...
- "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire". Completely missed except for the ending...
- I stepped on a snail during my walk home. Poor snail. I should watch the ground more often than the sky to avoid more snail-stepping.

Weak Long Post
Let's talk about the period from last Saturday to today.
Last Saturday:
I watched Transformers with An and Bing @ Bugis. The graphics were extremely powerful.
Last Monday:
I went to see a doctor for my sore-throat, fever and cough. Arrived at 1212. It was extremely deserted as the polyclinic closes at 1230. Registered at 1219, saw the doctor at around 1230. Quick assessment done, then I complained to the doctor about my abnormally fast heartbeat (100+ bpm for 2 days, never slowed down one bit), so the doctor asked me to go take an ECG to find out if there was any problem with my heart.
Went back to take the ECG. The ECG person is an extremely pretty girl in a lab coat. She stuck those leads on me and I lay there. After a while the machine printed out a piece of paper which I took back to the doctor. The doctor need to calculate things to determine my heart's condition. Never knew they had to do vector calculations to read the ECG. I thought they would see the pattern to determine what it is showing. Doesn't seems to have any problems, though if it continues after my fever has subsided, I would need to see him again. Paid up and left.
Last Wednesday:
I brought Kain Ming (Jingming) home for her to transfer her Motion Capture Assignment files to my com to burn into a DVD. The transfer took one hour for some reason. First time I brought a girl back home, and its really fun seeing all my family members' reactions when they saw Jingming. Mother looked so happy and Father was amused. 2nd Bro looked kind of surprised, and quickly went jogging. Too bad Balley wasn't around. Dunno his reaction.
Today:
Met up with Law, An and Bing to celebrated Law's upcoming birthday. Went to the "Sakura Restaurant" @ Toa Payoh Central, where the KBOX is located. Nearly went in last time I met up with Law, An, Bing, Kok, Kok GF, Boss and DY at Christmas Eve. Went in the restaurant with apprehension. It is very, very expensive for my current financial state.
It is like an air-conditioned hawker centre with a buffet table. Unimaginably crowded and messy and noisy. I can't believe so many people would go out of the way to get to an "air-conditioned hawker centre with a buffet table".
Anyway the food system is quite unique. For those raw food to be cooked, you clipped a clip to the corresponding stick and they will COOK and DELIVER to your table. A huge effort-saver compared to Yuki-Yaki. However, you cannot ask for it to be cooked in the way you want, so you may want to eat other food if you like control. Talking about other food, there are many kinds of Chinese food, Japanese food and desserts laid out everywhere. It is kind of hard to walk around because of the crowd. One may need to snatch at their opportunity to get a drink because there is always a bunch of people crowding at that choke point.
We ate and talked about lots of army things, An's issues and the sort of things friends talk about. It was real fun meeting them again. After eating we went to CD-Rama and then to Law's house for Bing to retrieve DVD to watch. After that we went home.
Notes:
- This is one of the posts where I don't have notes to post.
- I post notes to insert random things which I recalled suddenly.
- Usually notes are more fun to read than the posts.

Movie Watching
Today, I went to Chien2 to watch movies. O.o
There was Bing, An, Johnny, Shini and Chien2
I met up with Bing and Johnny at Junction 8 for lunch, then we met up with An to take taxi to Chien2's house. Once we arrived, An actually went through the gates without pressing the door bell or anything! He even went through the front door without knocking! Wow! Chien2's Uncle looked ultra buay-song when he saw us. (We followed An while feeling crazy) Nonetheless, he let us in. I think he vaguely remembered a few faces. When we went up, we saw Wenqi and another girl leaving. I thought I saw her in school before...
Shini arrived a few moments later and we started to watch the movies.
"The Messenger" - The regular ghost movie. However, this had a pretty happy ending.
"Stranger than Fiction" - Didn't watch finish. Others find it boring, I find it quite interesting actually.
"Employee of the Month" - Funny, watching a hypermarket's employees working.
Shini and An left at this point.
"Ghost Rider" - Disc got problem
"School for Scoundrels" - Funny watching loser-type people becoming winners. The characters also very funny.
After that we went home.
Notes:
- It was refreshing to finally go out after a long period of time going to school and home.

Swing
This morning, I met up with Bing, Bing's classmate John with his girlfriend, Bing's classmate Alvin with his sister, and Jian Hui with his female friend at Lido to watch Spider-man 3. It was free of charge as the Air Force wanted to attract people to sign-on with the Air Force. Each registered person can bring one person along to watch the movie. Before the movie started there was a promotional video for the Air Force. It seems like you can earn good money in there, if you can get in.
The movie was good. Go watch it.
After the movie we ate Burger King for lunch and went home.

Chomp!
At night, I went to Chomp Chomp Food Centre to eat with Bing, An, Chien2, Melissa L. and Johnny.
This is my 1st time going to Chomp Chomp to eat. The 1st impression I get from it is that it is really small, but packed with people. Bing and I met 1st then we go together. After we alighted from the bus-stop, we tried to cross a really narrow road. It took us more than 2 min just to cross that road since we dunno if the vehicles will turn towards or away from us...
Anyway we met up and ordered some food. As we ate, a "Peter" was mentioned. It seems that we all know "Peter", but Johnny and Chien2 kept us in suspense. After a while, "Peter" arrived. It's Irwan : ) He still recognise me! Fun.
We all walked Melissa home as she live close to Chomp Chomp. As I was told not to reveal where people lived in my blog, I can only describe. It is situated at a T-junction, at the side where a "School Zone" sign is located. Anyway, it's quite a big house. Some of us needed the toilet, so we all went in. I got a feeling that I've been to a similar house before, with a swing and a small fountain. I didn't know Melissa's family was somewhat rich. O.o
After leaving the house, Johnny, Irwan and Chien2 took a taxi to a bar they've planned to go. Bing, An and I went home in another taxi.
Notes:
- We ordered a stingray, kang kong and rice.
- The sugar-cane juice there costs a whopping $3, and it is in a humongous cup. I can nearly stick my arm through the handle.
- The air there is very spicy. I nearly cannot hold my "natural reaction to spicy air".

Unexplained Luck
Yesterday, I went to Chien2's house. It was a really strange trip.
25/3, Sunday
I met up with Bing at 3p.m. at Somerset MRT. Bing needed to buy drinks for Regina and her friend. He bought, and proceeded to the Balcony Bar at Heeren, Lv2. There is a market for enterprising girls to sell their wares. It was kind of embarrassing as there was like 50+ pretty girls, and about 5 guys (including both of us). The girls all stare at us when we entered the place. Also, as the atmosphere was kind of hot and stuffy, the girls were dressed in summer fashion. There were also these couches that also looked like beds. Since the girls have to make space for their wares, they are sitting with both knees to their chins. So sexy.
Anyway An came. Bing and Regina try to psycho him to buy something for a girl but was unsuccessful. Chun Teng came, and we proceeded to Chien2's house by taxi. The living room was packed with Chien2 brother's friends. Johnny came a bit later after us. We proceeded to the 2nd floor. There we played games like Mahjong and Blackjack. We also watched TV till night. Someone wanted vodka, and the vodka was brought out. We gathered together to play that game that was shown in one of the Taiwanese variety show. Everyone must psycho the other to say the word on their forehead. It was really funny. After quite a while of this game, Christobel came and we continued playing.
Bing and An left the house as they need to work early tomorrow. Left with me, Johnny, Chun Teng, Christobel and Chien2. We ordered McDelivery.
26/3, Monday
It will be a really long night ahead.
We started to play Mahjong. Me VS Chun Teng VS Christobel VS Johnny's team of Chien2 and him. It took 7+ hours to complete 2 rounds! I am getting all the powerful combinations, yet Christobel kept winning. Maybe it's due to skill level.
The 1st round, I am already getting powerful combinations, but Christobel and Chun Teng will win before me. The 2nd round, I get more powerful tiles but Johnny team's luck has turned around after Chien2 go bath, so Johnny's team win back their losses. Final winner: Christobel, due to her 1st round winnings. Johnny's team fought back from losing all to a no-win, no-lose. Chun Teng lost a bit, and I lost all.
It was raining in the morning, so we walked through light rain to the bus-stop where we went back to our homes for a rest.
Notes:
- The person under me in Mahjong got almost no tiles from me during the entire round. 1st round was Johnny's team, 2nd round was Christobel. Therefore, the person under me was losing quite a bit for that round. I think I must be very unlucky that night because I kept getting and discarding those "Wind" tiles. Even when I discard those easy to combine tiles, the person under me still cannot "Chow".
- Chun Teng did not win a "limit" hand through out the 2 rounds, yet he did not let anyone win a "limit" hand at his expense. I think that is real powerful. By the way, he was the player above me for the 2 rounds.
- It's really funny to have Johnny around. I think if we manage to convince him to quit smoking, he can make everyone "high" all day, all night. Right now there are pauses whenever he go smoke, so we cannot achieve a constant "high".

ULU Ex
This chalet is the most ULU chalet I've ever been to. "Our taxi driver", "Shi Hui BF taxi driver", "Kok's taxi driver", "Joyce's taxi driver", "McDelivery person" and "Taxi Booking person" all dunno how to come in the chalet's doorstep. All need extensive explaning to be able to reach this place. Where is this place? It's at Aloha Changi, Fairy Point Bungalow 1. The only problem of this place is that there is no road name...
Wednesday, I met up with Law, Bing, An, Rac, Mei Ping and Shi Hui at Tampines Mall NTUC. They've already bought everything since I met up with them late. After I've met up with them, we go "takeaway" our dinner at Tori-Q. 1st time I am eating this, so I am wondering what it will taste like. Went to the chalet in a taxi.
Once arrived, we ate our dinner. I have no problem with the food except for the pickles? They taste strange and looked pink! After dinner we played Mahjong, Blackjack and PS2. Some of them go marinate the food while others continued to play. Slept at 3am.
Thursday I woke up at 9am. Played PS2 by myself till the others slowly wake up 1 by 1. Called for McDelivery and feeling amazed by the fact that alot of people dunno how to come this location. Played the various things till start fire. Kok arrives, followed by Joyce. Cook and talk. Ate the cake we bought for Kok's birthday on the 23th. Play some more till I go bath. When I come out Kok left already. After that played some mahjong before go play drinking game. This time the 1st game we play is "Murderer and Detective". I keep getting the Murderer card, and need to use my cunning mind. I'd rather get the Detective card, and use my intuitive/ deductive mind instead. Drink lesser than last time, which is good. After this I had a talking session with Bing, Law and An.
Go sleep, and woke up at 7.45am to leave the chalet. Left the chalet for school.
Notes:
- I still dunno how much I win or lose, because I never go count how much I have from the start. I think Lose.
- I never eat a single chicken wing! That's Good.
- Joyce still quite attractive. (I know I will get "kpkb-ed" for this)
- Rachel did "Thirteen Unique Wonders", self made, while listening for one tile. I think this will be remembered until we are 70.

The COW
I ate my first ever piece of cow's meat in my life today. Before we go on to that, I will first talk about today.
Around 1pm An called me to go Law's house. I went there and played some PS2 before Kok come. We played some mahjong then around 6.45pm, we went down to take MRT to Dhoby Ghaut to meet Rach and Mei Ping.
There we went to MOS Burger. The menu looked like it has nothing to eat for the usual me, either too ex. or looked strange tasting. That's when I saw the MOS Cheeseburger. I ordered it and ate my first piece of cow. It taste... like milk + meat.
We then went PCBunk walk and go arcade a while, then go home.
Notes:
- Why don't I want to eat cow? It is because the cow works for us so diligently. It also give us the milk that are meant to be drunk by her baby calves. Chickens give us their eggs, but don't work for us. It even gives us Bird Flu, so I don't mind eating it. But cow... Work + Milk = Noble. Why should I eat it.
- I'll try to avoid eating cow from now on. However, I will eat if there's nothing to eat/ the majority of the people will be eating it (such as a BBQ).

Count? Down?
My week gets more and more depressing after Christmas. Let me talk about my experience of this holiday season.
Christmas
Went out with Bing, An, Kok, Bernice, Law, Rachel, Mei Ping.
Met Law and Bing at Braddell MRT. An very strange, want wrap present himself but don't want let other people see. He wrapped and brought with him the present for the exchange and Shi Hui's present. Too bad Shi Hui never appeared.
Went Kok's house 1st to spend the afternoon. Got play abit of everything, but a bit sian since after a few hours have passed all of them settled to play something. Mahjong - Bing VS Bernice VS Law VS Mei Ping. Kok's com - Rachel. PS2 - Kok VS An. I've got an office chair to play with, so I just rolled myself around the living room.
Around 6pm or 7pm, went KFC to eat. Bernice left. Took bus to Hougang MRT to take to Dhoby Ghaut MRT. Went PC Bunk and stayed around to watch someone fight Zakum. Walked to Orchard Cineleisure around 11pm? and see Law and Rachel have a showdown with the manager at E-Max.
About countdown le. Walked to a junction near Cineleisure for the countdown. A lot of people was around, and I slowly lost sight of the other 6. Stood on a high place where I would be safe from an irritating invention - foam sprays. The place is also along the road where the 6 would return when the countdown is over. Bad choice, I made them buay song as they were looking for me. My lack of a handphone also adds to their worries.
Wow E-Max is really a strange place. No windows, no stairs, lots of coms, open 24 hours a day. We had a private gaming room booked a few weeks ago, and slowly found out that all the other rooms are fully booked. Wow these people don't want to sleep. Played X-Box abit then had the gift exchange. I got An's present and he got mine. Funny. Bing go sleep because he hasn't got anything to play. I feel bad, because I knew that now Bing only interested in Dota, out of all the games in E-Max, and I didn't play with him... Haiz... Afterwards Law, Rachel, Mei Ping, An, Kok go raid a Mixed Golem map (Maple). So fun listening to them while I boringly played X-Box. Went home at around 6am, but reached around 7am due to the MRT starting late.
Notes:
- I don't blame them for me not playing anything interesting. It is because I never said that I want to play something.
- I somehow think that my actions this day led to the events that happened at New Year's eve.
New Year
No one asked me out.
Law I dunno, but very likely went out with Rachel.
An I dunno. I somehow think that he went along with Law. Why? I dunno why I think that way.
Bing went to Chien2's place. I think he forgot about me in his busy schedule, or don't think I want to go, or Chien2 forgot about me so never ask me go also. This piece of info I got from Bing's blog today.
Very sad. My view of the fireworks also blocked by a block of flats outside my window.
Notes:
- Every other friend I knew also went out.
