Polymerization

I went to Fusion 2008 from Thursday to Saturday. It's kind of like a graduation show for SIDM. The students showcase their works to the public and the companies that employ these new graduates. I am one of the students in the show.

On Wednesday morning, I went to set up my booth. Collected the $60 poster and pasted it at my booth. Beside my booth was Edwin Liew's booth. Beside him was Fiona's booth. Our people (the people that have their booth inside my area) set up their booths, and tested their equipments.

On Thursday and Friday, it was pretty sian as most people don't come to the Games Design area. They will stop at the Animation side 1st as it was at the entrance, then maybe go to the Interactive Media area, but that is all. The people that came to the Games Design & Digital Flim & Video (DFV) area are those that are attracted to the Singapore F1 Racing Simulator our DET pals have created. So yeah, it was boring. Further more, the companies employ mostly females in this show as most of the males have not completed NS. Therefore, even the better males in our batch feel like they are just here "for show".

Saturday, there were few people, but it was more interesting as everyone was taking photo, talking and playing. It's the last day, so everyone just want to have some fun. They might not meet each other again : )

At around 3pm, the show's over.

Notes:
- The show runs from 11am-9pm on weekdays, and 10am-3pm on weekends.
- There are no chairs, and we aren't supposed to sit on the floors. Imagine how long we have to stand for...
- I played a pretty interesting "Werewolf" card game with lots of other people.
